This is Me.

I've never been one to fit it or do what others tell me to do. But when i walk in the door of my college i see people who are there for me and people that want me to succeed. I don't feel like i have to be apart of something just to survive there. When i was in high school everything felt like it was survival of the fittest and now i realize that high school was a jungle i couldn't seem to fight my way through. My whole life i have been treated like i was an outsider. But being different is quite alright if you ask me. I don't need to have the perfect life or the perfect family. This is me. This is who i am. And if people don't like you for you or even see you for who you are then who cares. They aren't the people you need. That is exactly what took me too long to see.
